The Munich Irish Network eV is an association dedicated to promoting international understanding, cultural exchange, and Irish traditions in Munich. It organizes the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which began in 1996 when a small group of Irish residents and friends planned an event for 200 people—only to see 3,000 attend. Since then, the parade has become a beloved tradition. Entirely volunteer-run, the association fosters international spirit, tolerance, and cultural appreciation by supporting the arts, celebrating Irish heritage, and promoting traditional customs.
