Founded in 1982 as the German-American Choral Society, the Munich International Choral Society has always been dedicated to fostering international understanding, cultural exchange, and social engagement.
We are a diverse group of around 45 singers from various nationalities and backgrounds, brought together by a shared passion for music. Singing with joy and enthusiasm, we embrace a repertoire that spans different eras, styles, and cultures. Our concert programs blend renowned choral masterpieces with hidden gems that deserve to be heard.
We place great importance on continuous vocal and musical development. Through vocal exercises, intensive rehearsal weekends, and small-group work, we refine our sound, enhancing tonal flexibility and artistic expression.
