Brand Strategist in Munich: Karina Schwarzenböck

When a client comes to me not quite sure what their business is about, I know they’re not ready for a website, but they are ready for Karina Weber, The Brand Architect.

Tell us a little about you. How did you get your start? How long have you been in business? Describe your style of brand strategy.

My life has always been about entrepreneurship. From growing up in my family’s businesses to starting mine over 6 years ago, doing my own thing was somehow always in the stars for me.

Over the years, life has thrown me more than my fair share of challenges and trials, and it’s always been my brand – my promise, expertise, and unique magic – that has kept me moving forward, growing, and thriving.

I know first hand that your brand is the most powerful tool you have, and that crafting it carefully, with intention, will help you build a resilient business that can support and energize you regardless of what life throws at you.

I created the Brand Architect to help all the incredibly passionate entrepreneurs out there share their talents with the world; to help them uncover their true magic, to inspire them to dream big about all that’s possible, and to support them in creating a brand that opens all the right doors.

What is your approach to a brand strategy?

Start at the beginning (with crystal clarity). Focus on the magic (your unique *edge*). Keep it commercial (this is business, so it HAS to work at a commercial level ).

What type of clients do you like to work with? Any specific industries or sectors (creatives, health professions, coaches, etc.) you prefer or excel in?

My clients are service-based entrepreneurs and most (but not all) of them run their businesses online. In the past I’ve worked with coaches & consultants, teachers, travel guides, event planners, web designers & developers, VAs, content creators, stylists & designers, interior & exterior designers, architects, copywriters, photographers, and bakers.

What are 1-3 tips you’d give to people preparing for a brand strategy?

  1. Approach this with an open mind: that means letting go of any design or style you might already have in mind, so that you can go wherever this journey takes you and create something powerful and beautiful, instead of trying to make things *fit*.
  2. Creating a brand strategy well tends to be a much deeper and much more personal experience than most entrepreneurs expect. It’s really crucial to allow enough time to fully immerse in the process.
  3. We want to craft something that’s going to cut through the noise and stand the test of time; that takes a few months, not just a few days or weeks.

What are the different ways people can work with you?

I run an absolutely transformative group mentoring programme – the Brand-Driven Entrepreneur. And I offer 1-on-1 mentoring for those who are ready to start translating their brand foundation visually.

When is your busy season?

It changes every year, but spring tends to be the busiest as far as 1-on-1 mentoring goes.

How far in advance do you need to be booked?

My group programme can be joined at any time. My 1-on-1 mentoring capacity is limited, so I recommend getting in touch with me to talk everything through and discuss a possible timeline.
